Hollie Grimaldi-Flores is a Storyteller
With a gift for finding humor in life’s challenges. As the youngest of seven, she experienced both poverty and middle-class life, shaping her unique perspective. After several failed attempts to write her memoir, focusing on her failed marriage to a bipolar professional roadie set in the 1980s music scene, Hollie found inspiration in another form on her 60th birthday. Her humorous reflection on aging sparked the idea for her debut book,
They Aren’t Even Trying Anymore: The A’s, B’s and DD’s of Getting Older.
Hollie has also been writing columns for her local newspaper since 2015, sharing her relatable, witty take on aging, family, and life. You can also listen to Hollie's wit and wisdom in her podcasts, aptly named HollieGrams.
